Diploma in Travel and Tourism (no schedule)

Objective

This programme is designed for students of tourism and those with an interest to pursue a challenging career in the travel and tourism industry.

At the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

  • understand the systematic framework of travel and tourism
  • gain basic disciplines such as economics, psychology and sociology
  • acquire knowledge and skills in travel and tourism
  • analyse strategic issues related to the travel and tourism

Duration

  • Full-time: 9 months, 5 days a week & 3 hours a day
  • Part-time: 12 months, 3 days a week & 3 hours a day
    (Part-time course is only for Singaporeans, PR and WorkPass Holders)

Mode of Instruction

Teaching is delivered through a variety of methods including lectures, discussions, demonstrations, case studies and assessments.

Assessment

Different modes of assessments including mid-term test, presentations, group written assignments, participation and final examinations.

Certification

Upon successful completion and passing all modules, students will receive the Diploma in Travel & Tourism, awarded by TMIS Business School and endorsed by NATAS.

 

Minimum Entry Requirement Academic Level:
  Minimum C6 in GCE 'O' Level English or WPL ES Level 6
